HMW produces pure metals, intermetallic compounds and composites materials for research, development and manufacturing. We specialized in producing materials in small quantities, ranging from a few grams to a few units of kilograms. The melting and alloying of the materials is performed by means of vacuum melting furnaces, such as vacuum induction melting furnaces and vacum arc furnaces. HMW has a wide range of varied of equipment at its disposal, such as e.g. machines dedicated to powder metallurgy, enabling the manufacture of powders, granulates and compacted sintered parts, as well as metal forming machines for the production of sputtering targets, sheets, foils, rods and wires.
In 1991, the company was founded in Röttenbach, Germany, by Martina Hauner, graduate engineer, and Franz Hauner, graduate engineer and PhD in metallurgy. In 1999, the company moved into its new building, located in the industrial park of Röttenbach.
In 2010 we enlarged our company for another 570 m² to a total area of 1200m².
Since the beginning of the year 2017, the HMW Hauner GmbH & Co.KG exists. The company is managed by Mr. Konstantin Hauner and Mr. Maximilian Hauner.
Our know how is based on many years of experience in the fields of research, development, production and application of metallic materials.
The principle spirit of the company consits in providing the customers with the most appropriate technical expertise, by choosing the materials best suited for their needs, in manufacturing the products with utmost care and in delivering them promptly.
